The Worx Gallery's CEO
Ron Lamoureux is the energetic whirlwind behind The Worx Gallery. Besides being an award-winning educator, he is also a musician, photographer, writer, producer, and lecturer. As a university and college new media director for over six years, he was instrumental in creating a series of new media labs and a recording studio, and in assisting in the creation and development of educational new media programs.

Having taught at various levels to diverse cultural and age groups in Canada and in Europe, Ron brings a unique technological vision to education and training in the classroom and on the web. A confessed technocrat, Ron firmly believes that in order for technology to be truly effective in the global marketplace, well-defined and well-structured cultural content is vital. The Worx Gallery was created to respond to these realities. The writers, designers, photographers, animators, musicians, managers, and producers are all part of the interactive media industry. Ron is convinced that through The Worx Gallery, these professionals will continue to play a major role in its overall success.
